Henry David Thoreau

desert duneMy desert dune is haunting me The light is gone, and I can't breath I see so clear, but cannot speak My heart is breaking, killing medesert dune
Around the bend, to my dismay Deny what's real for just one day At night it comes and wants to play Used and abused, no words to say
I quench my thirst in the dry sand To climb the dune, it seems I can't To look and dream for new, flat land I turn the page into his hands
So desert dune, this is goodnight My heart has reached, no longer tries "I love you" quakes, into a sigh
My desert dune, this is goo
I really appreciate it
